Restaurant Consultation and Development
Opening a new restaurant or trying to reinvent the image of your existing enterprise? STLwinegirl can provide you the guidance and expertise you need. Years of managing food and beverage outlets (independent cafes and corporate chains to four and five star hotels and restaurants to wine bars and cocktail lounges) gave her the experience of everything from opening new locations to maintaining a brand and/or rebuiliding a culinary focus. STLwinegirl is versed in concept and restaurant development, spacial design, hiring and training of management and staff, and general consultation. Her knowledge of numerous levels of dining in multiple cities and a background in business and design gives an extra advantage to her services. Menu and Wine List Creation and Maintenance
Not all restaurants have a sommelier on staff, therefore STLwinegirl can provide those services on a regular or one-time basis. Whether you are looking to launch a new wine program or just need assistance in maintaining your current list, STLwinegirl can serve as your acting sommelier. You want your menu to stand out with enticing wording and fantastic selections. STLwinegirl will write your menu or wine list and offer pairing suggestions. Making adjustments to a wine or beverage list is as important as changing your menu with the seasons, STLwinegirl can evaluate your options and make changes to accomodate demand.


Service Training
Having a well trained staff can make the difference between a mediocre restaurant and a successful establishment. We know that a menu can only sell itself so much, but a server with proper food, wine and beer knowledge can help assist your guests in choosing the best possible items for their needs or appetite, thus increasing sales and experience. Service means more to some guests than the food itself; STLwinegirl can train your employees to work with a five-star attitude, no matter how casual or formal your restaurant is. Customized programs range in training time based on your needs. Regular monthly, quarterly and yearly programs can also be implemented.
